I have done a treadmill ECG today. I have been told when starting exercise my blood pressure hit 204/88. Is this anything to worry about?

Welcome to ehealthforum

Exercise stress test is usually done to determine any underlying cardiovascular problems and to look at the function of heart. Was this test a part of normal routine check up?Usually Blood pressure and pulse is expected to rise during the test.Systolic BP(upper limit)can rise up to 200 during the extreme phaseand diastolic BP does not rise so much(normal up to 90) or even can fall.I am considering that the readings which you have mentioned are of the peak phase and are considered normal if you do not have any other signs and symptoms.
Kindly visit a Physician for evaluation.
