blood groups required for wife and husband before marriage for avoiding future complexities

The only issue for blood group mismatch is likely when the mother is negative and father is positive which results in 50 percent chances of positive babies and that leads to erythroblastosis fetalis. I am not sure it should be the only criteria to decide for the factor. it is manageable. Early grouping at the time of conception is enough.And some immune mediation suffice.Future complexities are for screening the genetic issues like thalassemia etc which needs genetic counselling or any other gene transmitted disease which may result in handicapped paediatric disease.
rest a simple blood group difference is not and should not be a criteria for marriage consummation.
