My boyfriend has been diagnosed with a tumor in his spine and has been told that there is less than a year on his life. 48+ hours ago he got a tattoo on his right forearm that seems to be infected pretty severely. (from the research I've done, it seems to be blood poisoning of some sort.) Just a little less than an hour ago he noticed a small amount of blood coming from his right ear. could the blood in his ear be associated with either his tumor or the infection from his tattoo? Or is there another underlying cause to it? Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm not sure which forum would best suit this problem.

Welcome to e health forum.

It is difficult to make a assessment of your boyfriends condition without the complete medical history and a clinical examination.

The cause can be due to endocrinal factors released by a tumor, factors like ear infection or systemic infections associated with tattooing complications.

It would be best that you consult a doctor in person who can provide a specific opinion after a proper clinical examination.

I hope this helps.
