my 3 yr old niece has blisters all around her mouth, one under her chin , n one on her belly. They look to be filled with pus. The doctors from the next town over just scraped them off her. And now they are returning and look a whole lot worse.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out.

These blisters seem likely to be due to staphylococcal infection and will likely need antibiotics for treatment.

Penicillin group of antibiotics are quite efficacious drugs for such infections. However, culture of the pus can give a better idea about the best antibiotic.

Hence, please discuss this with the pediatrician who’s treating her. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
