Is a physical exam by my doctor needed before a Blepharoplasty(without general anesthesia)? Or will my surgeon give me a general examine right before the surgery(example examine my stomach etc...)? Or is nothing needed at all?
Thank you

I think physical examination is a necessary procedure for every surgery, no matter will go with general or local anesthesia

An initial consultation is needed so that the surgeon can properly examine what kind of eyelid surgery is needed, depending on the condition. Transcutaneous and transconjunctival blepharoplasty are two of the most common variants of the procedure. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia.
