Lately when I defecate, a tremendous amount of blood would be found, along with amorphous dark red "pieces" on the toilet paper, but the defecated matter in the bowl. Along with this, I'd need to use a huge effort to do this, and the pieces would only appear when much effort is used. I'd do this over and over again periodically for 3 days. It's very painful to sit at this time, and I see polyps on the outside when I look in the mirror. I don't know what to do, and I'm drained of energy.

Hi Gastricsearcher,

Sounds like you may have hemmroids. Hemorroids usually protrude when you have a bile movement due to the pressure of straining which causes the vein from the pressure to burst and bleed. Go to the doctor and have them checked, sometimes surgery is required, sometimes a treatment plan is put in place and as long as you dont' get constipated you shouldn't have any major problems.

Good Luck
