Bleeding and pressure after nuvaring

I got off the ring three weeks ago and had my period two days later. Now tonight i went to go to the bathroomand i started bleeding bright red heavily. Now I have pressure in my lower stomach. Not so much cramps, but pressure. What could this be

When you removed the vaginal contraceptive ring, the bleeding you had was two days later was probably the withdrawal bleeding that occurs after removal of the ring (usually within 7 days).

The bleeding you have now could be the actual periods. Hence you could be having lower abdominal pressure. Please discuss with your gynecologist also once.

If you do not want pregnancy and have removed the ring, you would also need to discuss contraception. Hope this helps. Take care!
