Bleeding after a partial Hysterectomy

I had my partial hysterectomy on July 10, 2009, removing the uterus and part of the cervix; the other part was attached to close to the bladder and wasn't removed. However,I started bleeding on July 24, 2009 very heavy worst then I did before having the partial hysterectomy. I was told that I may see some spotting this first month and it should go away, but definitely nothing like I'm experiencing. I am really scared, can some one help.

Thank you

Get in to see your doctor...Something like this could be serious.....You should not be bleeding this hard...

I'm really scared and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I had a SAH & BSO on 8th July 09. Lost lots of blood when surgeon tried to remove overian abcess. Didn't bleed much in hosptal but started to bleed a week ago, just like a period but not fresh red blood. Over the last 4 days the discharge became lumpy. Is this normal? What is it? It looks like old blood or flesh. Where does it come from?

Call your physician to see what he or his nurse has to say...I am not familiar with this procedure, so I really can't help you...You will feel much better after you do this...Good luck...
