black vaginal discharge to early to be...

i've experience black vaginal discharge last week for 5 days.. without feeling any pain.. and its too early to be my menstruation.. should i be worried?

A dark discharge from vagina can be due to a foreign body (like a condom or tempon left behind) or due to cervical cancer or dysplasia, fibroids in uterus or due to fungal infection.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once. You will need ultrasound, STD panel and PAP smear for confirmed diagnosis. Hope this helps. Take care!
