bites- cats have been treated for fleas

Hello

I am 46 and leave in the Uk.for the past few weeks i have been getting bites especially on my feet and calves.my daughter as well.we washed everything.bed matress and clothes but it didn't stop it.i have been beaten on back as well.we went to the doctor but she didn't know what it was.first time I was bitten I was walking in the street and felt a sharp pain in my calf.i never experienced such pain.it was weird.when I got him i had been bitten on top of my foot.today again I have similar bit and I uploaded a picture.anyone knows what it is? I have 2 cats but they have been treated for fleas and my husband and son who sleeps with cats do bit get bitten

Welcome to e health forum.

It is not possible to ascertain the cause of your bites from the limited history and the lack of physical examination.

Pets usually are infested with mites, lice, fleas, etc which cannot be detected by most pet owners.

It would be best if you get them examined by a vet, who can provide advice to you.

With respect to your bites, apply 1% Hydrocortisone (available over the counter) to relieve your symptoms. It would also be recommended not to share your bed with your pets to avoid recurrence of your symptoms.
