Birth Control that doesn't cause infertility or side effects

User Profile
Hello, my girlfriend and I are interested in getting into birth control as we're not ready to have children yet, but will be in the future. We're wondering what the best option would be for us as condoms and pills are exempted. We'd like to get one that doesn't cause infertility and few side effects, if any at all. Looking forward to your advice.

Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are planning to get started on birth control, you should consider visiting your gynecologist for thorough evaluation to see if you can be started on hormonal birth control. The suitable options would be suggested based on evaluation results and your needs. Discuss about the risks and benefits of each of the methods suggested and then take your decision.
Take care.
