Birth control hormones or pregnant?

I've been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo for almost two years. Last month, I was given two packs and was told to take the one that was going to expire in July. I took a pregnancy test today, and it was negative.
I usually get my period on a Friday or Saturday morning, but yesterday I had red spotting rather than a regular period. Today, I had dark brown/reddish spotting. Should I be concerned? I recently moved back home, changed the way I eat, and I'm under an incredible amount of stress for various reasons.I'm trying my best to relax, but it seems impossible right now.

Hello,
If you are on regular pill,I donot think you need to be concerned about the light cycle.
It could be due to tge stress or change of place as you have mentioned.
