biopsy of adrenal gland, went through the liver.

i had a biopsy of adrenal gland, they went through the liver. would this cause a spot on liver to show up on ct scan a couple months later?

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing us

Adrenal gland biopsy is done when the tissue sample is taken from any unknown mass present in the adrenal gland.
If the biopsy was performed through the liver then possibility of the spot being shown on the CT scan is present but it also depends on the procedure followed and the needle used.Later resolution of the CT scan can also make differnce.
