Big Belly showing pregnant (Page 1)

User Profile
Hi beautiful pregnant ladies!

I am in my 6th week of pregnancy, and wondering just when you all who are showing started showing? I have already gained a couple pounds (water weight I'm sure...) and am pretty self-conscious about it and, at this point, am just looking forward to my baby bump already...

What week did you all start showing? Thanks! Razz
Charlie

Hi Charlie, and Congrats on your pregnancy!
I'm 19 weeks along in my pregnancy, and only started showing about a week ago. This is my first child so I too was REALLY anxious to get my baby bump. It was really weird cause it seems as if one night you go to bed looking normal or maybe a little heavier than normal and the next day you wake up and your baby bump is there. So far to this point it's been one of the more exciting moments, as you feel the urge to rub your belly and for the first time ever let it all hang out. So I guess it depends on everyones body type I was pretty small before i got pregnant, about 95lbs, and a size zero, so the Dr said I may show earlier than some, but not really. Hope you have a Happy and healthey pregnancy, and before you know it your baby bump will be here too!

Thank you very much and congratulations to you. I'm petite also and was unsure if that would cause me to show later or earlier. Looks like later... Its fine with me, as long as my little one is healthy.

Thanks for the response!

you physically can not start showing (due to the baby) until after 12 weeks, because until then yoru uterus is still tucked under your pubic bone, before that any "showing" would be bloating.....that being said most people start shoing around 20 weeks (some could show before some after, i personally didnt show with my daughter until about 30 ish weeks) it also depends on how you are built and how big your baby is, if you are short you will show sooner because the baby doesnt have as much room so it has to grow "out" and if your taller the baby can grow "up" so you show later.....does that make sence?

good luck and i hope you have a wonderful 9 months

You are incorrect
i am 10 weeks and definitely showing. This is my third child. Didn't wear maternity clothes with the until mid 2nd trimester. I have been wearing them with my third since 7 weeks. I will be glad to send you a picture is you do not believe me. You can start showing very early depending on if you are petite , amount of bloating etc

My uterus kinda came out of it's 'shell' around 20wks, but I didn't pass the 'still just fat' mark until around 33wks. I'm also 5'9" and 200lbs with 'childbearing hips' like my mom, lol.

Willa, you are full of it. At 2 weeks you don't even know you're pregnant yet.

This will be my second baby. My son is 11 months and I had a c-section. My husband knew before I did b/c of my bulge. Whether it is bloating or back to back pregnancies I am in good shape but started showing at week 4!!!! I am still fitting in my jeans but have a def bulge that looks like I am getting thick around the middle.

6-7 wks
I'm 6-7 weeks along and already showing a little. Waiting for the ultrasound- maybe it's twins! Different women show at different times, some very early and some very late.

Period is late want to know if pregnant?
My period is now a week late, my average cycle is normally 28days and my period is very regular. In my 24 years of living I have never missed a period, i have never been late. My period is like clock work.my husband and I have been trying to have a baby, he comes in me every chance he gets, he won't even do oral sex anymore. My breasts are sore, darker in color, nipples sore, breast seems heavier, having period like cramps which come and go. Today I actually ran to bathroom with pad in hand but there is no bleeding. My last period was June 1, 2010. Any advice
I have had miscarriage twice, had a pregnant scare two months ago wasn't pregnant it was the two week wait and pms symptoms. I'm not overweight a 150lbs, diet pretty much the same. I have the pressure/painin middle of abdomen too.My husband and I have been having sex since ovulation and up until period due date. I had sex a few times this week would this interfere with my period.

showing early in pregnancy
This is my first pregnancy. I am about 5'5 and was weighing about 150. According to my physician I am only 5 weeks but showing already. My next appointment is next week and I wondering if my doctor calculated my months incorrectly or if I'm having twins. I have already purchased underclothing and can't wear most of my pants. Your thoughts and opinnions would be greatly appreciated.

I am about 16 weeks and I am very very short, 5 feet tall and I am not stick skinny but not more than just slightly chubby (in a cute way) and I am anxious to show but when I ask people they say that if they knew i was pregnant they could kinda see it but if it was not already in their knowledge they wouldn't think it. When will I show Sad lol
