My psychiatrist insists im depressed, maybe i am, but i dont think so, and even if i am i am confidant i can find a cure without medication.

Now , i have to meet the psychiatrist after a month . Maybe he will take some tests . If im feeling mentally down ill surely take the medicine, but im confidant ill sort it out. But i may not be able to beat the health report checks. So any qualified people know these answers

1 - assuming i were to take the meds for a month, then what changes would there be in my body, which could be tracked by a test ?

2 - Any other food stuff or anything i need to take so that my report result is the same as it would be had i taken the medicines ?
