I have puss coming out of my belly button. This happens a few times a year. There is no pain and at times there is a faint smell to it. Can you tell me what this could be from?

Thank you! Question

You probably have some sort of infection in your bellybutton, what color is the discharge? Is it dark or light?? Usually dark (brown or dark yellow) means infection and you should see a doctor right away!

Belly Button (Navel) Infection with Puss & Small Blisters
I just experienced this a day or 2 ago.
At first it felt like I had a pimple
forming under my skin to the side of
my b-button (like the rim of it) and
well I may have scratched it alot last
night, not realizing it and now it's
very itchy and somewhat sore. There's
also tiny blisters in there and it's
oozing alot. There's no smell, like I
see people mention alot. The puss is
a light yellow. I havn't popped anything,
I've kept it as clean as it can be
but it just keeps oozing and after a
few hours or so it crusts around the
edges of the naval.
Oh and no I never had a ring Smile

Any info greatly appreciated!
