Am I pregnant or just crazy?? I had my last period on January 26. My periods are always regular starting on a wednesday and by sunday I am back free. I have yet to have a period and today is March 04. I am technically 9 days late and today when I was at work I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I saw some red, I was so happy I figured that my period had finally came on. I put on a tampon, but about 2 hours later when I went back to the bathroom and removed the tampon, there was virtually no blood on it at all. I have had very very bad cramps which I usually do not have even when I have my period. I have 2 children, although with them I do not remember any of this. I have taken 3 pregnancy test, one last saturday which was 2/26, another 2/27, and the last this morning 3/4; all which came back negative. I am really starting to worry though because whenever I have missed a period, I was pregnant. Although before I never realized it until I was going on two months late. I need some help

Hello and welcome to eHealth forum!

Well, if so many pregnancy tests have been negative, chances of pregnancy are less. However, since you have a past history of what I assume late detection of pregnancy, and since you have always been regular, take a blood pregnancy test for confirmation.

If this too is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss.

You will need to consult a gynecologist for this.Hope this helps. Take care!
