Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have followed the ‘missed pill protocol’ of taking the ‘missed pill’ along with the scheduled pill of that day, then you should have the protection. The protection of the birth control pills remain with you if you are regular with taking pills at scheduled time. If this was not your first pill pack use and if you have not missed taking 2 or more than 2 active pills, then you should have had the protection. Your symptoms could be suggestive of possibility of early pregnancy. Look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy. Wait and watch for your periods/withdrawal bleeding. If they do not start within 10 days of expected period dates, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately).
Take care.
