Hi, welcome to the ehealth forum and I am glad to help you.
You seem concerned about paranoid delusions and visual and auditory hallucinations. Paranoid schizophrenia might be possible in your case in which one often feel anxious, more often angry or argumentative, and falsely believe that others are trying to harm them or their loved ones.
No medical tests for schizophrenia exist. CT scans of the head and other imaging techniques may find some changes that occur with schizophrenia and may rule out other disorders.
Antipsychotic medications are the most effective treatment for schizophrenia. They change the balance of chemicals in the brain and can help control the symptoms of the illness. Medications combined with the behaviour therapy might be helpful for you.
But the definitive diagnosis is not possible online as it requires detailed interview including history and examination for which you need to consult your psychiatrist.
Hope this helps. Take care.
Note: This post is not to emphasise final diagnosis as the same cannot be made online and is aimed just to provide medical information and no treatment suggested above be taken without face to face consultation with health care professional.
