Above interesting possible causes, yes fear has a lot to do with it. Nevertheless, what happens when the shaking movement moves from the bottom of your bed to the top headboard area, now pulling at your pillow? Then it will pull at your limbs, now your limp arm is suspended in mid air without even engaging your muscles. Yes, it’s just your imagination right. Just turn off the light and go back to bed, you wake up again its still dark and you say to yourself there’s nothing to fear. (Suggestive thinking?) 10 sec later the quilt has fallen over your face and a downward pressure is exerted, you’re gasping for air.... for life, and you’re NOT paralysed. You fight back throwing punches and trying to remove this weight. You may say to yourself Jesus this thing is trying to kill me. The pressure stops immediately and now you are fine. Then the voices and the hallucinations but sh*t I’m not sleeping and its during the daylight hours…could be the onset of schizophrenia?

First thing you need to believe firmly that there are no such things as demons & ghosts specially in this case, every thing is chemicals in our body affecting brain and fear. Our senses can play such a trick that we can't even imagine, with some drug withdrawals people see spiders all over them. Trust me first step to cure this is to kick away the fear. Many posters have posted if you say stop firmly it stops so is not it our brain Smile we keep blaming demons .... Haha!!! I am over it ...for us we believe Hanuman a monkey God, and just his name is enough to kick away any fear or any type of demons, so. I searched "hanuman chalisa" over YouTube and started to listen that before going to sleep, it played a trick, that's our brain. Most importantly you need to find out if you have recently started on some new drug, or caffeine based thing etc. that keeps you awake, meaning your body needs to rest but this chemical keeping your brain awake. Let's ask all posters here to list, things they started taking around when they started to feel this sensation!!!

The authorship of the Hanuman Chalisa is attributed to Tulsidas, a poet-saint who lived in the 16th century CE. He says in the last stanza of the Chalisa that whoever chants it with full devotion to Hanuman, will have Hanuman's grace. Amongst the Hindus of Northern India, it is a very popular belief that chanting the Hanuman Chalisa invokes Hanuman's divine intervention in grave problems, including those concerning evil spirits.

Don't know how spiritual you are, but Google "kundalini rising" or "ascension". This is what's happening to me. It's energy inside your body moving.....nothing to fear, but read up on it. Ignore the horror stories and seek spiritual guidance.

the first time this happened to me was last tuesday morning some odd hour.. i was sound asleep dreaming sweetly when i was violently shaken for just a moment until i awoke. i described it to my boyfriend as "i felt like i had crash landed into reality.. or earth quake"... btu after talking to him about it that once didnt think about it again until today! it happened last night/this morning... same exact thing, dreamingly sweetly and all of a sudden it happens. i described it this time as a giant person picking me up off my bed and plopping me down. i went to bed as 12 and wake up suddenly as if i had been droped. what the funk. strange thing is it happened the same time and day as last time.. tuesday some odd hour AM.

i know the vibrating of astral projection, it isnt that. my body wasnt vibrating , i was SHAKEN. big shakes like UMPH! left flailing around sitting straight up confused. why was i awoken like that?
i think i am going to go to a pychic if this doesnt let up

Shaking bed and swipe of a hand sound
I have the shaking bed happen to me, too, as if someone is sitting down beside me. Also, I hear a swipe sound on the sheets. It happens to me every morning when I am half asleep. I have no explanation. I do not believe in spirits, ghosts, or demons. I have to wake up enough and look to make sure no one is there even though I know there isn't. It's an awful feeling. Obviously, there are a lot of other people that experience it, too.

This happened to me the first time last night. I went to bed around 3, fell asleep, then woke up. I turned over onto my other side, and suddenly I felt like my bed was violently shaking and I heard loud shaking noises as well as a buzz that sounded like a tv or radio was on. I felt like I couldnt move, like something was pressing down on me. It lasted only maybe 15 seconds and then I opened my eyes and it stopped and I could move.

I too have had my bed shake at night. I apologize for my long story, but must say it from the beginning. My very first occurrence started when I was about 21yrs. I live on an island on the west coast and we are prone to earthquakes. Before this bed shaking event, I have felt 2 little earthquakes that registered 3 or 3.5 on the Richter scale. I know that when this event first happened it wasn’t an earthquake, because it was only my bed that was shaking and not other objects, such as pictures, window rattling, etc.

At this time, I separated from a very long-term(almost 10yrs - yes I was young) spouse due to his drinking habits. I had 2 young children with him, ages 3 and 1. So at the time of shaking, it was just me and my 2 little girls. I immediately phoned my sister and asked if she felt that earthquake (that’s what I thought it was at first) and she said no, I was like “hmm” ok. I will just wait to find out later to ask others and confirm this or not. This would have been back in 1998.

Then another night, can’t remember if it was a week or 2 later, this bed shaking thing happened randomly at whatever time of the night, 2am, 3am, mostly.

Days or weeks before this shaking thing happened, it did feel like something sat on the end of the bed. Then a few nights later it was like a bump or some kind of nudge. Then with the first bed shaking, it felt as if it was coming within or at all angles. I know what it feels like when someone is trying to shake you out of bed, (ie. when your parents are trying to kick your butt out of bed to go to school, or when a child is bumping the bed, to wake mommy up to get something), but that’s not what this was. It seems like it was from the whole bed itself. And no, I didn’t even have a coil bed at this time. I had a foam bed. That was within a heavy queen size oak waterbed frame, so the bed was definitely not light! So the theory with the coil bed is out. Anyways, I was ripped out of a nice sound sleep to this shaking and it freaked me out. I also knew it wasn’t an earthquake, because my blinds weren’t shaking or my lamp, or any other objects in my room. Just my bed. But I still wanted to confirm with others to see if they felt an earthquake, because then it’s easier to dismiss what I felt.

The next day, I asked my neighbors (we share the building, I get duplex and they get other duplex). They didn’t feel anything. I asked friends, but nope, they didn’t feel anything either.

So I just left it alone. Then it kept getting worse, progressively throughout the weeks and months. It went from just my bed shaking, to my bed shaking and the lamp beside my bed. Then it went from that to my bed, lampshade and my blinds would tingle and move around as well. All these times when this occurred, I would immediately wake up from my nice sound sleep and call my sister, saying “did you feel that? Did you feel that?? I really think we had a earthquake this time, because my blinds were really rattling around this time”, and then one night, she cussed at me and told me to get the (something I cant say) back to bed, there is no earthquake. So I knew I couldn’t keep calling her and bugging her and ruining her sleep. So I had to continue to suffer these events on my own. I thought it was just me, then after awhile, I knew it wasn’t just me, so I started asking my neighbors, are you washing your clothes at 2-3am’ish? Or doing anything? (because we are in a duplex). The road we lived on was in a suburban area, no real big trucks going by, but I did really pay attention to when trucks did go by, to see if my bed or room would shake. And yep, just like I figured, no shaking. I also started noticing a gap in the door frame in the hallway that wasn’t there before. It was separating from the drywall and the door frame. It was only ”, but still noticeable. So I thought, maybe it’s the foundation!! So I immediately called my landlord, and he came and went into the crawlspace to check out and see if there is any kind of signs of an unstable foundation. But he found nothing. I was pretty bummed out, because I was sure that’s what it was.

This shaking thing, kept on continuing and growing worse. I don’t drink, don’t do drugs, and I am a good girl. I believe in God, Jesus, and pray occasionally. I am not psychotic and nor am I an imaginer. But these things are REAL.

So then my little sister moved in with me temporarily and she was sharing a room with my little girls. Then one night, late at night, about 2 to 3am’ish, the shaking happened again, but way more violently. I can hear the girls coat hangers tinging away in their closet across the hall, and my sister asked me, if we are having an earthquake, and I told her “No, I don’t know what is making the place shake though, but its been doing this for a while”, she immediately started crying and praying and praying. She was really scared. I felt bad. I didn’t know what to do. But next day I asked my neighbors again if they felt it, because my sister felt it this time too and it was really bad, and I figured they must have felt that. It was the whole upper level floor (3 bedroom duplex). But nope they didn’t, they didn’t feel a thing. My sister didn’t stay with me too much after that.

Then another occasion it happened when my little brother stayed with me, and he was sleeping downstairs on the couch. Same thing, while it was happening I yelled at him and asked him if he could feel that, and he said it was shaking the couch a little bit too.

One night, I stayed at my spouse’s house. We were trying to work on our relationship. I got my oldest brother and his girlfriend to watch my 2 girls, and let them crash in my bed. They awakened in the middle of the night as well, to my bed shaking. It freaked my brothers girlfriend really bad. When I returned and my brother was telling me this, I had to laugh about it this time, because now a majority of my family members are getting to experience the problems I am having. His girlfriend was very scared to come into my place after that. She wouldn’t even sit on my couch. She would only sit on the floor, 3’ away from the door. I guess she wanted a quick exit.

So by this time, I was determined to find an answer, so I contacted the city engineer. I told him that I think my landlord is not telling me the truth about my place being on a bad foundation and my place shakes real bad and the wall upstairs seems to be twisting (a small 2’ almost 3’ divider wall, between 2 door frames). So he came, checked, and went into the crawl space and checked that too. But nope, he said that there was nothing wrong. So I said, “what about the wall upstairs that is starting to twist? There was no gap before, and now there is almost a 2” gap!” And he said that was cosmetic and it doesn’t mean anything. It wasn’t a bearing wall. I had no idea at the time what that meant, so I felt so defeated. Hopeless to find any solution to my problem.

Then my spouse died. It tore my heart out. But the shaking stopped. After a few months I moved out to another townhouse. I did have some weird things happen there too, like it was spiritual, but they could all be debunked as something, but I know it’s not something, but not going to waste my time noting it here. Then I met my husband and a while later, I moved far away, over 300km’s to another island.

I got baptized, married, had a couple more children, and we have a mixed/blended family of 6 kids. Have a busy household. During this time my father died in a tragic accident. As well as my cousin in a separate accident. My previous neighbor, who lived in the duplex in the city, happened to be in this tiny little village I currently live in one day(weird I know), and one night for some unknown reason there happened to be some kind of altercation between her and her friend, which the cops showed up and shot her, in the heart. Yes, shot her! It shouldn’t have happened, but did, and tragically she died too, leaving her children to be spread out in the system.

Anyways, I work in the medical profession as well, so I like facts and proof. I did have some weird events that happened in our new house that was experienced by all. Not explainable. But I did start praying and trying to cleanse the house with prayers 3 times a day. I have had a rollercoaster of a ride with my marriage. Many are surprised and not to happy with me for staying in this marriage. But I don’t want to give up, like I did on my last relationship and I don’t want to share the upbringing of my kids, for many different reasons.

I have been fine all these years until last year, exactly in Feb, 2013. I can’t remember if it was the 5th, or 15th? But during this year we have experienced a couple of good earthquakes, mostly originating from a different island, but still felt here. The greatest one being 6.9 or 7.1 (had both sources say different) on the Richter scale. Even with that one, you could feel the gentle sway of house rolling, almost as if almost on a wave. We had evacuation notices to get to higher ground by the means of Police announcing it on their radio’s and the Fire Dept also sounding off their alarms. But what happened after wasn’t nothing like any of these earthquakes.

I was once again, ripped out of a nice deep quiet sleep. I awoke to my bed very violently shaking, worse then anything as I felt before. I could hear the bunk-bed in the girls room above me violently shaking and squeaking and the heavy queen size bed in their room thumping around as well. I looked beside my bed to see & prepare to brace myself for the mirrored cabinet to fall on top of me and my youngest daughter, but that’s when I noticed it wasn’t moving. I was like what the?? That’s when I really was wondering what the heck is truly going on? I could hear the one wall behind my head twisting and I could hear the 2 x 4’s creaking as if they were going to snap. (I have heard 2 x 4’s creak and snap from being under the weight of vehicle’s) So I know that it takes a lot of force and for it to do it to this house, would really need to be a lot of force (this house has original fir beams and is built incredibly sturdy, since this was a carpenter’s house. This house isn’t just going to collapse.) I was really scared, I felt as if we were going to get the “BIG ONE”, the monster earthquake that we were all supposed to get. But I didn’t experience any of the pictures rattling on the walls, or any other earthquake symptoms. Our house is 4000’ sq ft total. It is a big house. It’s solid. It would take a lot to make it do this. But anyways, this really scared the heck out of me.

I was too scared to even get out of my bed. My daughters all awoke from this. They were ages 7 & 10 at this time. This was not an imaginary situation. My left ear felt all messed up. It was like I was deaf in that one ear. I scoured the internet and checked earthquake websites, to see if there were any earthquakes at all or even near us.
And there was none. I wasn’t surprised, but I was scared. I went to work for the hospital that following day. I was deaf in my left ear still as well. I asked my co-worker if she felt any kind of shaking at all last night and she said no. So throughout the day, I analyzed what happened and thought about it and dissected it up.

So for our all our beds to shake violently would require a considerable amount of energy. I am deaf in 1 ear for no explained reason. I made a appointment with my dr to follow up on that. My 1 wall to be creaking loudly would have had to be a considerable amount of weight be placed on top of it, sort of like having our truck or two, on the roof, in order for this to happen.

So I seen my dr and for some unexplained reason, my ear is not equalized. My pressure in my ear drum isn’t proper. I have no cold, or nasal infection, nor did I suffer any recent cold. But she still subscribed me some nasal sprays to help with this. After a couple of weeks with the nasal sprays not working, nor the gum chewing, and trying to personally pop my ears (yes, I know how to do this, I have done scuba diving about 15yrs prior to this incident) and nothing working. I went back to see my dr, because I soon have to fly in an airplane, for hospital work and I also have a exercise with the military to do too, across the country. So my dr. prescribed me different nasal sprays, and some medications as well. Nothing worked.

I couldn’t cancel my trips, because I had to go on them and wanted to go. So when time came, I nervously got on the plane, and expected to suffer some great deal of pain. But that’s not what happened. My ears started to equalize when I got into the air. Then after a couple of hours, we landed, and I went deaf in my left ear again. I went to my hospital convention and did my stuff. Was so extremely annoyed I couldn’t hear, because I really needed to hear, this was important stuff I was doing. Then back into the airplane I went, and once we were up high, I could hear again. Then after we landed I couldn’t hear. This really was miserable for me. I knew I need to go back onto the planes in a couple of weeks for military stuff. So I didn’t really want to be dealing with this stuff at all.

So I saw my dr again. My dr didn’t know what else to do. She said that usually she see’s this stuff with people who have congestion problems, but I was totally free and clear. Didn’t suffer any previous colds or anything. So she was stumped as to how she can futher help me. So I kept thinking about all this stuff and what happened. Wondering if I am going to go through futher shaking and what made me deaf in my one ear?

Then came time to fly across the country to do some military exercises. Once I was in the big Jet Liner’s, my hearing really came back nice and clear, comparing to when I was in the smaller little 10 to 20 seated airplanes. And these 2 flights are the only flights I have gone on, since 3 years prior. So no, I am not a frequent flyer. So anyways, once I was on this big Jet Plane, we went high into the air and I got my hearing back and it was clear the whole time. And this time when we landed, I still had my hearing. Yay!! A couple of times, it seemed like it wanted to go back to being unequalzed, there was popping, and some noises, but thankfully it stayed. I was super busy during this exercise, with many different types of responsibilities and didn’t have much time to think and deliberate about stuff. But yes, this really brought some questions to mind.

Why did I experience these things and what is truly going on? I notice a lot of common things amongst some of the people who are experiencing the same things. No drugs, no alcohol. Not some crazy person, who is just rambling. Many common sense individuals. I do believe in spirits, I don’t believe life is just over when you die. I do believe there is good and bad, just like good and bad people. I really don’t believe this is caused by spirits however. I think that there is more to this than the average person realizes. It is scary and it is real. I have been scouring through scientific facts and studies and looking at many different angles to answer why this may be going on. Now some of it may be hard for the average person to grasp and maybe scary for some of you to think about. But I am going to start looking outside from now on, when this stuff happens again. I do not believe its coming from within.

Let’s face it, science can now make things levitate with just sound waves alone. It’s really fascinating and incredible, but also very interesting. I think it will be a long time before, we can truly figure this out. It will be hard to figure out, because of its inconsistency of its timings of when it wants to occur (ie. I had about a 13yr gap since the last shaking problems and then had the 1 violent event and then nothing all year long. It is feb 5th today. It is a 1 year anniversary of that major event, it either happened on the 5th of Feb last year, or the 15th of Feb last year. I wish I could find my last years calendar to confirm this).

I will be investigating it more thoroughly, by the means of a security system set up around here and outside. I plan on looking for a good system and purchasing one by the end of this month (I have to wait until I can get enough funds). I have had weird type of anomalies that have happened throughout the night or day, but can’t just associate it with spirits. Sorry, but I just don’t think or believe that there is spirits just trying to “get us”. Thankfully to all the military training I have had and how it has made me feel stronger inside and outside, I feel like I have the confidence needed to tackle this situation. Otherwise, I would have to be honest, I would have hidden like a little baby girl in some church or something. Lol.

Other than that, I feel for the people who are going through this stuff and I understand and can sympathize with you. And yes people want to joke around about little aliens or what ever, but its not a joke. I can clearly say I have NEVER been alien abducted or anything. But yes, I have seen 1 when I was with my very 1st spouse, when I was 18yrs old.

Some of my current community members also got to experience seeing one, and the ferry had stopped along its route, to observe one that was in our area about two years ago. And yes we have a unique and diverse of nationalities on this planet, with each of us being so different with different colors of the skin, hair, eyes, etc. Look at our map of the earth and all the places we live on this planet, and all those little dots of cities, towns, etc. Now take this map of places and apply it to our universe. We are definitely not alone in this galaxy. We would be selfish to think we are so special and unique to be the only one’s here.

We have so many unexplained things that happen around us that is going to take some time to answer. But I believe many of you need to be open minded about things. Don’t go off and kill yourself, because you think you are suffering some sort of mental illness or psychotic delusions. Don’t go and become super Christianized thinking that you are dealing with the devil, all the while going for countless exorcisms. Do pray, follow the 10 commandments, be good to others, be a good person overall. And just trust knowing that you are not the only one going through this and there is an answer to what most of you are going through. It will just take time and evidence, to gather up the evidence.

I alone can not do this, but suggest that others do this as well. The more the gathering of the evidence and sharing, the more we can figure out what it is we are dealing with.

God Bless You all.

I don't want to be the one to bring paranormal stuff and religion into this but oh well. My older sister told me that this happened to her when she was younger. She had a metal bunk bed and slept on the bottom bunk. She said that one night, she woke up out of her sleep and her whole bed was shaking. She was convinced it was a rat (she was like 5-6) and told our dad about it. He immediately put up a wooden cross in her room and it never happened again.

Yes, this has been happening to me for about 3 years. These are NOT hallucinations or anything like that. It is real and I think it is happening to more and more of us all the time. It is paranormal for sure..i.e. out of the normal realm. For those of you who have not yet experienced this phenomenon, the geses as to what is going on have all been invalid. It is real and it really happens.

Sensation of vibrating bed, no paralysis.
I have these experiences on a sporadic but frequent basis. Sometimes I am almost asleep and the bed begins to shake. Sometimes I am sleep and wake to find the bed shaking. No paralysis. I will lean up on one arm and feel the bed, it is vibrating. The wall is not. Just the bed. I thought I was crazy until I found other people experiencing this. My two teens have reported having this happen as well. I don't feel threatened, it is unnerving but there is no sense of impending doom. I was raised in the church with the hysteria of a demon under every rock. I've considered that, I've prayed. Doesn't stop the shaking and as previously mentioned, I feel no sense of dread or fear, just disconcerted that my bed is shaking.
I have had other experiences that were frightening. I've prayed and feel reassured but the bed vibrating does not follow this pattern. Nor does the music I occasionally hear when none is playing. Smile No, that isn't frightening either. Unnerving the first time or two but this place is old, I figure a few quirks and residual energy isn't so odd. I do wish I understood why the bed shakes but at least it isn't scary. That's something.

I've experienced this too and was scared of the thought that it's a paranormal experience. I started experiencing this bed shaking about four or five years ago. I sleep on two different beds with these experiences occuring. I read everyone's replies in hopes of finding what's really happening. Lately I began to think that maybe it was me who was shaking and not the bed. Maybe it's a kind of nocturnal seizure that some of us are experiencing. It's pretty scary that there's a possibility that I'm an epileptic. I will try to observe myself again to see if this is the case.

After a few months of observation, I am back as a person who overcame this experience. I don't feel the bed shaking anymore nor any seizure at night. I can relate how it must have happened but I don't know if it might happen again or if I was the one shaking, not the bed.

After posting my first post, I began to become wary even as I sleep for any more weird experiences. One night, I was trying to fall asleep, when out of nowhere, I began to feel a peace, a relaxation come over me and my body. After that I began to feel like I'm floating, which made me feel peaceful enough to sleep. This feeling didn't come to me before sleeping so I tried to use my willpower to stop whatever was happening. And, I was back to normal and slept like any other sleep that I used to have. This happened twice with just a few days interval in between. After that, I stopped experiencing this bed shaking phenomenon completely.

However, I put a fair amount of doubt that it was me shaking, because I remember one time when I woke up to experience my bed shaking, and at the time of me waked up, I turned on my lamp beside me, still feeling the bed shake. And after awhile it stopped shaking. I would have known if it was me or the bed because I was awake.

So for me, this mystery is still a mystery.

Guys, I had the same feeling about an hour ago and I'm freaking out. I was in my bed trying to fall asleep and then all the sudden my bed started vibrating and it felt like someone is walking on my bed back and forth very fast in the area where my legs were. And that area felt kinda hot. I got so scared and couldn't even move. It lasted about few minutes and then just stopped.
I was laying in bed for a while and was scared to move or even open my eyes. Nothing like this ever happened to me. I thought maybe I was falling asleep and I had a cramp in my leg and because I was sleepy my imagination was playing tricks with me. But I googled "bed vibrates at night" and came across this forum and see that other ppl experienced this also. I'm so scared... I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep tonight.
I'm in Brooklyn, NY. 31 years old, 5'6", 125lb.

Shaking Beds now turned into a habit
This is happening to us almost every day after we shifted to our new Flat. It is near Airport. We both felt it regularly and discussed in between us. We have not checked with our neighbours to avoid gossips/ rumours. But till now cold not understand the reason...The muscle and brain coordination may be the reason but this never happened in our old house. May be the bed is more dynamic..Anyway now we are enjoying it. It boosts our sleep..rather I miss the same whenever I travel and stay in different Hotels....

Yep I have the same experience. I am not sleeping. It happens shortly after I get into bed. Have not been able to figure it out.

I live in Wisconsin. It does not have any thing to do with cars, truck, trains, or airplanes. We are not crazy either. I do not believe it is super natural either. I think it is a microscopic insect that like the warmth of your body. That would explain why when you move from one house to another you have this happen. I think we carry it into our homes form hotels we have stayed at or from other homes we have visited. I have been trying to figure out where I have traveled in relation to when this started happening. I am not sure but I did travel to the Caribbean where we had bed bugs in our room and I may have brought it back from there. You could bring it into your home from your luggage being on an airplane next to someone else's luggage who did stay in one of those places. Then when you get home you put your luggage on your bed to remove your clothes and now it transfers to your bed. Think about it, does this fit you? Now we just have to identify it and learn how to treat it.

My bed vibrates too...
I don't know if anyone still reads this thread but I too found this forum searching for answers. I've experienced my fair share of "encounters" of nearly every kind and my bed has vibrated before, I've just never tried figuring it out.

Tonight I had a flashback memory of my bed vibrating last night. I remember it happening again. I remember focusing on the motion and where it could have possibly been coming from. It was very late in the evening (very early in the morning, really..) and I was sleeping. I woke up to the vibration. It woke me up. And that takes a lot. But with that being said, it truly was like a phone vibration minus the phone. No ringers going off. No text messages. No pulsating notification. It was continuous for about 3 minutes, which seems now like an hour. I opened my eyes and listened. No music anywhere. No neighbors banging around, or A/C vibrations, or any home-caused shuffling. Just me on my pillow top mattress, on a box spring, no bed frame, on thick tile, on the solid ground, no pipes below me. My bed continued to vibrate with no sound, no movement, no reason.

The last time this happened was at my old apartment which was on the second floor. It was 3-4 am, fall time of year and my bedroom window was open, and I was in a dead sleep. I woke up to the screeching of tires on pavement from the main road not 300 feet from my home and my eyes shot open. Immediately I hear the smash of a vehicle on vehicle accident which would have been directly in front of a 24 hour gas station. It sounded like metal on metal with fire and booms. It sounded bad enough for me to sit straight up in bed, grab my phone in a panic and think, "I need to call 911, someone had to have died." Before I even turned the phone on I realized the bed was shaking. VIBRATING, like a continuous phone call ringer. As I start focusing on the bed I realize I hear nothing outside. This accident sounded deadly. Horrifying. Heart Pounding. And no sounds? No screams? or cries for help? Or sirens?

Dead. Silence. Crickets.

I sat and focused my hearing so strongly on the outside sounds to where I swore I heard an ambulance coming. Getting louder and louder and closer then I hear a crotch rocket fly by and realize no one is coming because there was no accident. The bed stopped vibrating. I laid in my bed wide awake for about a half hour trying to figure out what the hell the sound that woke me up was, why I heard it, and why my bed was shaking. Did the universe need me to know someone just died somewhere? Someone I know? Or was it a warning for the loss I'd soon go through losing a good friend in a horrific car accident?

I've witnessed many "spooky" things since I was a child and never had problems, but when it got to the point of touching me or waking me up with tricks of terror- I need answers. I have been touched, scratched, choked (yes, choked), and a target for things on the shelf to fly at (candle holders, books, bottles.) Hell, I've even had my name said numerous times in a single 30 second recording. Some things I understand, some I don't. This. I don't. I need to know how to start handling this all, because now my thoughts are coming to fruition and I feel like it all has to do with each other. Any advice?
