I am in a relationship for the last 6 months. And we are madly in love with each other. And we also often make love. But we never have done intercourse though there has been a lot of foreplay and free humping (acting like doing intercourse while having clothes on) and we enjoy this alot. Also i often give her an oral. But from few weeks she has stopped taking interest in all these and has started believing that she might get pregnant from free humping and complains about the delayed periods. I have tried to make her understand but could not. Please suggest me how should i eradicate this baseless fear(iff it is really baseless) of her..

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
There are no studies to prove that sperms can swim through fabrics (unless it is thin and lightly woven and there is presence of ample vaginal wetness), because for pregnancy to result, pre-cum or semen should come in direct contact with vagina during her fertile days/ovulation time. If semen or pre-cum has not come in direct contact with vagina and she was not around her ovulation time, chances of pregnancy resulting can be ruled out. Wait and watch for your periods. Look out for development of any new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. Wait and watch for her periods. Look out for development of any new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. She should visit her doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance if she does not get her periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if she gets abnormal bleeding. If pregnancy gets ruled out and if you are not ready for pregnancy, but intend to remain sexually active, you should consider getting her started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after her periods). She should be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact if you are not ready for pregnancy.
Take care.
