barely able to sleep/ fall back asleep...

User Profile
I haven't been able to sleep for months on end properly. Usually like 4-5 hours a night and I'm barely able to sleep/ fall back asleep. i do on the odd occasion have a nap in the afternoon after work or something but i don't have one regularly. I do not drink much caffeine or caffeinated beverages on a daily basis.
im thinking its insomnia but i also kick and punch a lot in my sleep, i have actually hurt my boyfriend because we have been sleeping together and my legs and arms will be restless.

your help is greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Considering very limited information and your sleep pattern you might have an anxiety disorder. If you are absolutely sure that you have no anxiety issues, I would suggest to see a sleep disorder specialist. You don't have restless legs syndrome. By Andre Strizhak
