baby names : should you name after dad

I an 24 wks and it's a boy... Smile my question is how common is it any more to name the child after it's father? And if I do 4o you have to use jr and sr. Or can I just use I and II . I like the roman numerials better. His name would be Ryan Christopher II... What you think...

Well his name is handsome..and i definitely approve of naming him after his father. Honestly, i dont think theres a set rule for that so name as you please hun... Smile
