i am 23 weeks pregnant everything has been fine with my pregnancie but the past few days baby hasnt really kicked it has kicked about 5 times in 2 days i dont know what to do as my midwife phone is switch of

If you are 23 weeks pregnant and felt only 5 movements in last 2 days and your midwife’s phone is switched off, please rush to your gynecologist or ER for a reassurance that everything is fine. This appears to be your first pregnancy and it is quite possible that you missed some movements while sleeping. Maybe your baby is most active while you sleep.

Also regular movements are not felt until the baby is about 25-26 weeks and older. Take a snack and lie down for some time. Count the movements then and see. If, you do not feel any movement within half an hour rush to the ER or to your gynecologist. Hope this helps. Take care!
