Curious, Growing up I never had a problem eating gluten heavy foods... In fact all I ate was pasta, pizza, pancakes... any bread based carb. After a growing up a bit i bagan eating other food and healthier over all. I began eating no bread, pasta... any carb based food really. No about a year.. year 1/2 I got some blood work done and while not confirmed they think i have an auto-immune disease... they think celiacs. Im just curios if this is posible considering my history... it would also possibly help explain variety of other unsolved problems.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Usually diseases like she like a child born and rarely acquired. However if they are suspecting, they can work up for celiac disease which is endoscopy with biopsy and transglutaminase test. In Adult age if these symptoms appear, I have an experience of these symptoms to be mostly due to irritable bowel syndrome. Modification of diet and lifestyle is mainstay. Visit an IBS Health Centre for further guidance.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
