Armpit lump. 16 years old boy

I am 16 years old boy, and a couple of days ago I found a small lump under my skin on my left armpit. The area is not red and the lump is not visible above the skin, it does hurt when I touch it. I'm just wondering if anyone on here knew what this was.

It's all under the skin, not visible at all from the surface.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

Its due to infection or blocked sebaceous duct. It usually fades away spontaneously.
I would suggest you to have good hygiene and apply topical soothing agent.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
