Anybody else have these weird episodes on Implanon?

User Profile
HI just wanted general advice and opinion. I have the Implanon implant in October 2012. Had two very light periods since... As in barely there.

About ten days ago I begun with period pain for 3 days (which I never usually get, or if I do it\'s mild). So I thought I was going to have a period but the pain stopped?

Yesterday and today I've had really sore breasts.

I had my son three years ago and don\'t remember feeling like this at the beginning of my pregnancy. I can\'t be pregnant thought surely because I've had the implant for 8 months?

Last week I had five days of nausea, but that has also stopped too.

Anybody else have these weird episodes on Implanon?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The light bleeding could be indicative of probable implantation bleeding if you are pregnant (women have reported getting pregnant even while being on Implanon use). If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets ruled out, further evaluation would be done to look for the exact underlying cause for the symptoms that you describe. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and evaluation results) would be started to help you control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
