any luck with celiac disease and going vegan?

I am still struggling with stomach issues even though I have been gluten free for two years. I was a vegetarian for about 7 years and I am debating to become a vegan (whole foods diet) so I can feel normal again. Has anyone had any luck with their celiac disease and going vegan?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Going vegan is your personal choice. It has nothing to do with your celiac disease, it will neither worsen or relieve , unless there is some placebo effect. Try to stay on a balanced diet , consult a dietitian and let them make a complete dietary plan and find out the best possible management for you.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
