Anxiety caused by family problems.

I've recently learned that I have anxiety. Which is usually acute until its reawakened by stress. I am currently living with my mom and she is extremely obsessive over cleaning and says I'm ruining her life when I don't clean, by the way I am not a messy person my room is averagely clean. I also cannot move out yet because I'm underage. I don't know what to do. And my anxiety is really bad to where I can't sleep at night and prefer to stay inside. I am also falling behind in school. Should I seek professional for my mom and I or try and talk to her about it?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You need to address the stressor in order to get rid of anxiety symptoms. I would suggest you to take your mom to professional to resolve her issues.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
