Anxiety after transformer explosion

A powerline/ transformer blew up infront of my house, i witnessed it all. it nearly killed me & my family. i already have horrible anxeity. ever since it happened ive been having symtoms of ptsd. could something like that actually cause ptsd?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Yes it can cause PTSD. If it helps you may consider some psychotherapy sessions and some anxiolytics. I am sure it will help.
