Herpes and Genital Warts Answer A42160
Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. The typical site which you have mentioned is suggestive of external hemorrhoids. For the confirmation of diagnosis, a local per rectal examination along with a proctoscopic examination is required. The treatment depends on the degree of hemorrhoids. Sclerotherapy, in which an injection is given to dry out the hemorrhoids, is commonly used. It could possibly be a pilonidal cyst also for which an examination is needed. Please consult a surgeon for the diagnosis and further treatment.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
