Antibiotics and Birth Control - Am I Pregnant?

I've been on a low dose birth control for about 5-6 months (Lo Loestrin). Last Monday I had 8 blue "active" pills (followed by 2 white pills and then 2 iron pills) in the pack when I started Augmentin for an ear infection. On Wednesday I had unprotected sex with my partner and forgot about antibiotics lowering the efficiency of BC and my partner ejaculated inside of me. What are my chances of being pregnant? I normally spot some on this BC anyways because it is so low dose, but I have been cramping and have bright pink spotting. I can't tell if it is because I am now done with the blue pills and am about to start my period or if it's a possible pregnancy. (And if it makes any difference for the past 3 months I have gone straight into the next pack of BC and skipped my period.)

Welcome to ehealthforum

Augmentin does effect the contraceptive action of the oral pills so while on them it is advised to use extra protection during intercourse.Spotting and cramping might be the side effect of pill use as it is not possible to have pregnancy symptoms so early.Chances of pregnancy are less though present.
Relax and continue the pills. If there is development of any other symptom consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation.
Take care!
