an irregular border and irregular shaped edges?

User Profile
5 days ago I got a really bad sunburn on my back and shoulders. I examined my skin when it started to blister and peel and I found a spot of dark brown skin, like a mole or something and it's covered in skin, but it burns and itches. It has an irregular border and irregular shaped edges. It's different from the rest of the moles I have, and it really concerns me. What could this be?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the skin lesion you describe (the mole) without examining it closely. Consider visiting your doctor/dermatologist at the earliest to get it examined to rule out any serious issues. Appropriate treatment measures would be started based on examination and investigation (if needed to be done) findings. Apply Caladryl lotion or Aloe vera lotion liberally to soothe the affected areas. Drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices. Avoid further sun exposure especially to the affected areas.
Take care.
