AMA mom for 4 weeks , another baby in the picture

User Profile
I'm AMA mom about 4 weeks now. I have teenagers (special needs) and a toddler now. I am not in the most confident of relationships. I am actually of thinking to walk away. I can't believe that I foolishly became pregnant at this time. I am not happy. I don't think that if I leave I could provide for what will be all 4 children alone. I am not bonding with this pregancy and trying to see my way through the fog that is coming over me. The question I have is do I just leave now and avoid all the chaos that will come if things don't get better and there is another baby in the picture?

Depression During Pregnancy Answer A14968
Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out. You need to think over it and possibly take the help of your doctor regarding the continuation of the pregnancy or going in for the medical termination of pregnancy. Ideally, the pregnancy should be continued only in an amicable environment for the betterment of the coming child. It is not good if a pregnancy is not planned and one is not looking forward to the coming baby but still going for it.

However, I must mention that medical termination of the pregnancy is an irreversible decision and this decision should be taken only after deep thinking and consultation. You can consult a psychiatrist also for the same. I sincerely hope this helps. Take care.
