Am I still able to shower or bath?

User Profile
Hello There,

I went to my doctor for vaginal thrush and i was given an internal cream that says it takes about three days max to clear it up.

Am I still able to shower or bath normally or should I wait until it works. I'm just worried about washing away the cream, I don't douche or anything.

Thank You

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
To have maximum benefit of the cream prescribed, you need to use it 2-3 times a day, keep the area clean and dry. Take bath as usual. Apply the cream after bath again. Avoid douching, avoid wearing tight undergarments. Use loose cotton undergarments.
Take care.
