I think i might be pregnant. I was supposed to start on the 30th but on the 29th i started spotting and thats all i have done since then. I stopped spotting earlier today. ITs just been pink to brown in color and its only when i wipe. I always have a heavy period with bad cramps and i havent this time. I cramped some the first day on the second day i got bad cramps went to the restroom and there was a gush of blood and that was it back to spotting when wiping. I took a test and they were negative but everyone keeps saying implantation and i that i should wait a few more days but i just dont know. I feel pregnant just womans intuition i guess but i have been a bit moody and had a bout of constipation then diarrhea. Food cravings just want ranch with everything. Im just ansxious i guess. Can someone please give me some advice on what they think is happening here.

Pregnancy Q and A Answer A11712
Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If you were expecting your periods on the 30th and started spotting on the 29th then this cannot be implantation bleeding as that happens almost a week-10 days before the due date. This could either be periods or it could be pregnancy. Take a blood pregnancy test after a week. If this is negative then other causes of spotting such as to birth control pills, ectopics. hormone imbalance, PCOS, hypothyroidism, etc will have to be looked into. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once. Hope this helps. Take care!
