Welcome to this forum.
Red vaginal discharges can be due to diverse reasons. It can be due to persistent cycle flow due to hormonal imbalance or can be due to any form of polyp or erosion inside. So, in both cases, you need to be rechecked by a doctor. If it is for a short duration, just keep an eye over it. But if it is long standing, you need to undergo a hormonal testing and an internal examination along with general checkup.
Hope I can address your query. Please visit your doctor if there is any further confusion as without a clinical examination it is not possible to opine through an online medical forum.
