my Bf and i had protected sex and also used the pull out method. afterwards he took of the condom and washed his hands..then he fingered me but only touched my clitoris after we cuddled for 10-30 minutes and his hands were dry.this happened 2 days after my period ended and my period is usually 6 days long. period is supposed to start in around 5 days and can be irregular. i've experienced my breasts get larger, a symptom of both pregnancy and periods (even though it doesnt usually ever happen for my period) . what are the odds im pregnant?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
The chance of getting pregnant is almost nil.You had sex after two days of completion of your cycle and that is the safe day. Also sperm can not be transmitted by fingers. so, if there is no other exposure, these symptoms are most probably due to your upcoming cycle.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.

Am I Pregnant Answer A63153
Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

In short: You are unlikely to be pregnant.

If the incident happened on the 8th day of your cycle (6 days periods + 2 days), and your cycle is irregular, then, check and see if your periods usually come after the expected date or before it. If your periods come a few days before your expected date, then you have a short cycle. This means you ovulate earlier than mid-cycle, and sex on 8th day can increase your chances of pregnancy. However, as you explained, you used double protection (condom + pull-out) and your boyfriend has not introduced sperms into your vagina as he washed his hands and his hands were dry. So if you have short cycles, then chances of pregnancy are very less. The only chance is if the condom leaked or there was a spill while pulling out.

On the other hand, if your periods come later than usual, then you ovulate late. This means that sex on 8th day of cycle can be relatively safe. So this further reduces your chance of pregnancy even if there was a condom leak or spill.

However, if you have irregular periods and plan to be sexually active, then it will be good to find the cause and treat it. This will regularize your cycles and ovulation and make it easy for you to stay protected.

Please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance. Hope this helped you in making an informed decision about your health. Take care!
