alternatives to eating a lot of meat for protein?

User Profile
Are there alternatives to eating a lot of meat for protein that won't break my bank? I don't like eating meat that much anyway and also I am more of a vegetarian by nature. Meat is always how I've gotten most of my protein but I'd like to switch but I'm not sure what else I could try eating instead?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. There are many plant proteins sources, talk to a dietitian and get them help you with a complete dietary plan . However some sources are just in meat like vitamin B 12 etc. You need to make sure you dont end up deficient in any.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
