Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

Although stimulants are the first line of treatment for ADHD and is a drug approved for the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) but you should not increase the dose on your own and get the dose changed only under a psychiatrist's guidance. Otherwise there is a risk of overdosage which may cause somnamlence, agitation, hyperactivity, abnormal behavior and gastrointestinal symptoms. The mean elimination half-life of atomoxetine after oral administration is 5.2 hours.

You may also find that psychotherapy will also help a lot in your case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
