almost 19 and have ovary/ pelvic pains and dull ache

User Profile
Hi I am 18 years old almost 19 and for the past almost 6 months I have had ovary/ pelvic pain. My gyno said I have dysmenorreah, and the ultrasounds were normal. He put me on a gluten free diet because I was vomiting with pain. I have been depressed, lethargic, naseuated. I feel a pulling sensation I feel like when you get a cut and its scarring and it itches. I have Sharp pains and dull ache as well, leg pain occasionally. My periods have always been troublesome, extremely painful, large blood clots. I don't have sex, but my long time boyfriend uses one finger and I have cried from pain and bled 80% of the time Doctors say maybe appendix, some say no. Kidney stones ? Gluten? Ps. Gyno says I am too young for endomitriosis, but if the gluten free diet doesn't work, he will start treatment for endo. Help?I

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If the symptom of abdominal cramps or dysmenorrhea is persistent or getting worse, could indicate underlying problems like PID, infections, pelvic adhesions, worsening or rupture of ovarian cysts, torsion in ovarian cysts (if cysts are big), endometriosis, endometrial cyst rupture etc. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. If the symptoms have been persistent, or if they keep worsening/not improving, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the symptoms and altered bleeding that you describe. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms. You may also consider taking second opinion from another gynecologist and then proceed with further management.
Take care.
