I have been coming down with cold like symptoms every 3 months for the last 2 years. Starts with tickle at back of throat then sore throat and fatigue for a week (paired with a lot of coughing), then congestion and fever for another 2 weeks. When visiting my PCP and ENT and allergy specialists- they give me steroids and the problem eventually goes away. They never offer a long term solution and I cant afford to pay $200 a visit 4 times a year. What should I look at for a solution/ treatment and who can I ask for it from?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You should consult immunologist. I would suggest you to have yearly influenza vaccination and avoid allergens.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
