allergic reaction to augmentin?

if one was prescribed augmentin and swelling occured in the face is this considered an allergic reaction

Swelling of the mouth or lips can indicate an allergic reaction. Are you experiencing any other symptoms such as rash, itching, hives, trouble breathing?
