Hey doctor... I had sex unprotected on May 19th, he "pulled out". i\'ve had all the symptoms of pregnancy.. i was a few days late on my period, and now i have started today. it is a medium flow and usually i have a heavy flow. darker and thicker than usual.. cramps and tiny blood clots. i usually have very large blood clots with my periods. I still have pregnancy symptoms and i just have a gut feeling. My mom and my boyfriend don\'t think im pregnant and im just over reacting but i\'ve never been so sure in my life but now this period has thrown me off. please help! thanks.

Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

If your period is lighter than usual and you ‘feel’ pregnant then take a pregnancy test and see. Otherwise, your symptoms could be due to stress and anxiety. Since pull out method is not 100% fool-proof in preventing pregnancy, take a pregnancy test and see. Hope this helps. Take care!
