alanine aminotransferase

Hi all
I have my blood test report which saying I hv alanine aminotransferase value is 56.do I hv hapatits

I read your question and I understand your concern.
No,you don't have hepatitis. It should be atleast three times upper limit of normal in case of symptoms and five times upper limit of normal in asymptomatic cases to be labelled as hepatitis.
