Age-related macular degen: seeking advice on blue light filter

I was recently told I have ARMD (age-related macular degeneration) starting in my LEFT eye. The eye surgeon told me this incurable, untreatable, irreversible eye disease, which can't be arrested, will also start in my RIGHT eye. I've read that blue light can lead to ARMD and can, of course, worsen it if it exists. I use a desktop computer every day for hours. Blue light comes from my desktop monitor, a flat screen one having a diagonal measurement of 17 inches (and 10.6 inches tall x 13 inches wide).

What blue light filter for my desktop monitor would anyone here tell me is a good one to buy? I've read that such blue light filters can alter the appearance of anything blue appearing (from some website) on the screen.
