Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
After surgical abortion endometrium takes time to grow back to normal. So you will take some time to get back to your usual bleeding. You can expect to get pregnant after one to three months time, but it is advised to wait and be on contraception for atleast till next six months for the uterus and the endometrial lining to heal back.
It is possible in very rare cases to get pregnant within one month after the abortion. In such cases if pregnancy is suspected, tests should be done early to detect the pregnancy and avoid miscarriage.
Take care.
