Hi,
I have PCOD. From last 2 months I am taking M2-Tone tablets. After starting I got my periods 25th day. After that i havent got my periods so i did pregnancy test which was negative. My doc has advised to take Primolut-N for 3times for 3 days. I have started it on 30th Jan and finished on 1st Feb night. As per my knowledge i was supposed to get periods after 3-4 days. but i didnt hence i did pregnancy test, which was negative again. and still i am not getting my periods. but i have sour breasts some cramps. Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you suspect pregnancy to be the cause for your absent periods and symptoms of cramps and soreness in breasts, then consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician for a thorough examination and blood HCG test to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Urine pregnancy tests can show false negative results.
If pregnancy is ruled out, then consider discussing about getting started on insulin modifiers to control the PCOS (most PCOS are due to insulin resistance). Later ovulation inducers can be started to help you with getting pregnant once the PCOS changes are under control.
Take care.
