I have been diagnosed with reflux, lately I have been experiencing a lump in my throat like there is something stuck. Also accompanied by foul smelling burps. What could this be?

Acid Reflux Answer A64526
Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
These are consistent with gastroesophageal reflux.
I would suggest you to start proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole for atleast 2 weeks, drink atleast 12 glasses of water daily and do regular exercise.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
