Acid Reflux and mebex (mebendazole) for worms

User Profile
I have been having acid refluxes of magnitudes that have never occurred before. Also I seem to have intestinal worms for which I'm prescribed to take mebex (mebendazole tablet). Also I have been getting frequent mild stomach pains from past 2 days. Can these effects be related in any way..???

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Yes stomach pain and acid reflux are correlated. Modifying diet and lifestyle and using supportive care of some antacids and long acting antacids like omeprazole etc should be started. Visit our GERD health center for further guidance.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
